The pictures below show from left to right a standard aquarium tank connector which you need a joint or thread socket to connect your plumbing to this item, available in imperial and metric pipe sizes. Slip tank connector
which your pipe fits inside and is sealed by a washer, metric pipe only. Bonded tank connector which your pipe fits in both ends and is glued into place. metric pipe only.
